iPhone Call Forwarding
November 23, 2011
I got asked an interesting question the other day about call fowarding on an iPhone, specifically conditional call forwarding where you may be either busy or out of range. There is an option for call forwarding on the iPhone but it can only forward ALL calls.
Setting up call Forwarding on the iPhone
You can set up call forwarding on the iPhone and here’s how.
Activate Call Forwarding
- To setup “Call forward if busy”, dial *67*[target phone number]# and press “Call”
- To setup “Call forward if not answered”, dial *61*[target phone number]# and press “Call”
- To setup “Call forward if unreachable”, simply dial *62*[target phone number]# and press “Call”
Deactivate Call Forwarding
- To deactivate “Call forward if busy”, simply dial ##67# and press “Call”
- To deactivate “Call forward if not answered”, simply dial ##61# and press “Call”
- To deactivate “Call forward if unreachable”, simply dial ##62# and press “Call”
To Check Call Forwarding
- To check “Call forward if busy”, dial *#67# and press “Call”
- To check “Call forward if not answered”, dial *#61# and press “Call”
- To check “Call forward if unreachable”, dial *#62# and press “Call”
Call ALL Call Forwarding
- Dial ##002# and then press “Call”.
Simplify the process
Rather than remembering these codes you can simplify the problem by setting each option up as contact so when you need to activate call forwarding, just look up that contact and dial the number.
