The Apple Store goes offline due to the gold rush

It seems that the popularity of the iPhone is set to retain its status as the “must-have” device as Apple’s UK online store stopped working following the announcement of a sim-free phone.
The iPhone 4 will cost £499 for the 16GB version and £599 for the 32GB version in the UK without the need to tie into a long term contract with a mobile operator.
You will need to purchase a new mico-sim as the iPhone favours the smaller size sim rather the the standard sim used in previous iPhones,
